چکیده

The authors present their experience in applying quantum electronic devices patients undergoing lower limb amputations. Object. To develop a technique for potentiating the traditional multimodal anesthesia by optoelectronic with wavelength 650 nm (red range) and 470 (blue (manufactured Russia) amputation of extremities. Material methods. Multimodal was performed 48 (11 women 37 men) aged 68–89 having comorbidities. In main group, contact LED irradiation portable semiconductor device AFS к-630/670 emitting red range ± 20 blue 10 power 30 mW at end surgery were used. above mentioned made form bracelets non-invasive non-contact application during amputations comparison not potentiated irradiation. Results. discussed Russian bands spectrum extremities promoted decrease narcotic dosage (Fentanyl) general anesthesia. cardiac index increased surgery, total peripheral vascular resistance decreased if to compare baseline values. somewhat less values, Conclusion. (650 nm) which applied surgical interventions (470 reduce dose preparations as well stabilize hemodynamic parameters surgery. Besides, immediate postoperative period, who survived abovementioned used do require additional painkillers after amputation.

Perioperative and rehabilitation outcome after lower-limb amputation in elderly Chinese patients in Hong Kong.

PURPOSE Major amputation of the lower limb is considered the last resort when limb salvage is impossible. The aim of this study is to determine the morbidity, mortality, and rehabilitation outcome of patients that underwent a lower-limb amputation. METHODS A retrospective cohort study was conducted among 100 elderly patients who underwent a total of 120 lower-limb amputations in a regional ho...

Intertrochanteric fractures in patients with lower limb amputation

Fracture of the residual limb in an amputee is uncommon. Intertrochanteric fractures of patients who had lower limb amputation have been studied only in several case reports; however clinical studies are lacking. We performed a retrospective clinical study to assess if these patients could return to their pre-fracture activity level after dynamic hip screw (DHS) fixation of their intertrochante...

Association between Functional Severity and Amputation Type with Rehabilitation Outcomes in Patients with Lower Limb Amputation

The purpose of this study was to determine independent influences of functional level and lower limb amputation type on inpatient rehabilitation outcomes. We conducted a secondary data analysis for patients with lower limb amputation who received inpatient medical rehabilitation (N = 26,501). The study outcomes included length of stay, discharge functional status, and community discharge. Predi...
